"The Spray"
Interested in working on an old
wooden sailboat? Are you a talented wood worker looking for an outlet?
Or perhaps you just like getting your hands dirty for a good cause. In either case we've
got the project for you.
Aquarian Quest is looking for volunteers to help refurbish the "Spray" (pictured
above). It's in dry dock in the Cortez Village area and ready for any hand willing to
experience the rewards of hard work and dedication. The Spray will become Aquarian
Quest's second classroom upon her completion. It's our intent to keep her, in the South
Tampa Bay, Bradenton area. If you know of any moorings open to an educational
not-for-profit sailboat, or you'd like to get involved with the refurbishing of the Spray,
